DANBURY — Before the lunch hour begins at noon, staff at the Danbury Library set up meals and select some entertainment for the 20 to 30 children they expect to arrive each day.’It is great for us because kids are already here participating in programs over the summer so they don’t have to leave to go somewhere or figure out lunch, and also for the kids who can’t afford lunch or to go somewhere or go find food at home to get it somewhere besides the schools,’ said Katie Pearson, the library’s director.
